Happy New Year

I have had the best New Year EVER!!! I dont think I will ever be able to beat it.

It was also Ozkans birthday. In the morning he opened his presents. I got him an Armani watch which he absolutely loves. He also got little mini hair straighteners from my Mum.

In the day we went to the centrum and had tea, while looking out onto the sea. Then we went back to the hotel to get ready for the night. Ozkan looked very smart in his suit and new watch.

New Year was AMAZING. We arrived at Mitos at 8:30pm, probaly a little late as most of the tables were gone when we got their. Dominic and Simon were there also. It was a nice mix of tourists and Turkish people. Our food was very nice. They have a new chef, who is alot better. We had a three course meal.. so I was very full.

There was a pool competition, which went on for quiet a long time. It sounds boring but it was actually funny to watch. Everyone put 10 lira in. Gencay won, I think he was happy? Displaying this by running across the pool table. Then there was bingooo. Everyone got really into it, wanting to win the money. After that Dominic and one of the waitors played a game on the pool table, which was hilarious... but I dont have a clue what the game actually was, and I deffinately cant explain. But you can see from the pictures!

Then it was `Happy happy happy happy happy birthday` for Ozkan. Chocolate cake, with Christmas icing on the top. Suprisingly Ozkan was shy, with a big grin across his face. Then the boys picked him up and threw him in the air?!

When it was 12, eveyone went outside and there was fireworks. After that we sat at Dominic and Simons table and talked to them. At around 2 me Ozkan and Burak went to the discooo. James Dean. We picked up Sabri on the way. We only had 1 hour because it closed at 3... but it was worth it, and we got free drinks.

When the club closed, we headed back to the car. There were christmas baubles on the floor, huge ones! They must have been from the Christmas tree near the the club. People were running around with them, kicking them like football. Ozkan got told of by the police for it. He was like okeyy okeyy, and ran off and kicked another one! Funny times. We took 3 of the baubles back to the hotel! I was like I can put them on my christmas tree... You could say that I was slightly drunk.

Anyway.... here are some pictures from the night.

ALANYA

I am finally in Alanya. My journey down was terrible though. I only got about 3 hours sleep the night before. I still had things to pack in my suitcase, and I was excited. I got up late at 4:30am, because my alarm didnt go off. I JUST had enough time to get ready. Nev picked me up at 6:10am and my Dad came to the train station aswel. I have an image in my head of them waving me off, that I remeber. I had to stop at York and transfer trains, which was a pain, but easy enough. Saying I got to the airport early is an understatement. I had about 5 hours to kill. I was so bored and tired. When I fınally got on the plane, I just went to sleep.. with my new travel pillow I got in the airport. After we landed I had a nose bleed :S ...
Ozkan was waiting for me with a big bunch of flowers :) .... He did bring his car! After he told me he wasent going to... I kind of new he would though.

I have been here two days now. Yesterday we went to Alanyum and ate at burger king. Then we went to the centrum, to go for a walk by the harbour.It was suprisingly good weather, we even got a little bit of sun. Just as we got out the car we bumped into Sabri... so we went for a drink of tea with him. Later we watched a movie (Dear John) and then went to Mitos. Today has been similar. We went to Alanyum again. This time we went to the cafe and had coffee. Then we went to the new 5D cinema. It was only 5 minutes but was well worth it. We watched a scary video... and the chair moved, water sprayed in your face and you could also feel somethıng grap your legs. It felt so realistic, Ozkan loved it. I went on a similar one in Disney land. After watching another film tonight on Ozkans laptop, and going for a kebab we are in Mitos now. I am sat while Ozkan and Burak are playing pool. Looking forward for Dominic and Simon to be joining us later on.
New Year tomorrow... should be very good!

Buffet

Today's we had our Christmas Buffet, yumm. Nice little send of for tomorrow. I should get to bed early tonight as I have to be up for 4am!!!

Laptop

First blog on my Christmas present! ... As you can see I got a white on, I love it. I got lots of other things this Christmas.. the usual smellies, make-up, perfume etc. BUT I have to mention the pyjamas I got. OMG I got a baby grow! Both me and my Mum got one as a joke, mine is cow print all over.. so I look like a massive cow in it. I did ask for sexy pyjama's?! They are very warm though. ;)

10 days from now

Just been at work today, no biggie! I only have one more contracted week left, it's gone so quick. I love working at Boots, so I will be applying again as there's some jobs going in the New Year. Got a few more things sorted out for the holiday. I've booked to have a spray tan the day before I go, i'm thinking the medium will probaly be the best. I've also booked to have my fringe trimmed again. Fringe's grow so fast, so i'll get it cut a little shorter than last time so it lasts longer. After New Year I plan to grow it all out for the summer and lighten it up lots.

Christmas is just one week away. As you can see from the post below we have all our decorations up. I'm getting a laptop this year, and I cant wait to see what it looks like/what colour it is. I don't really mind as long as it's not black, as everyone seems to have a black one at the moment.

10 days from now... I will be seeing Ozkan at the airport. When I see him there, for the first time, after what's been literally months, with all the busy people around, I feel excited yet nervous... But it never fails to be the best feeling ever. Every single time. I wish I could bottle moments like these up.

I've been off college/placement for the past week now because of the snow. But I do hope it stops before I go away in under 4 weeks time. Today I went to town to do some shopping. I nearly have everything bought for Christmas, soo no more stressing about that.

First snow day!

I'm not suprised, it was so cold last night. Me and Paige went to the cinema to see 'Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows' and then we walked back home. Yesterday was also Dad's birthday so we ordered pizza and of course had the traditional caterpiller chocolate cake. yumm.

College, Mcdonalds & then cinema night with Bex. We went to see a new film that's just come out 'Due Date' from the makers of the hangover. It was pretty funny.

Winter is deffinately here, it's ice cold outside. My summer was way too long ;) I can't remember it even being this cold.

Bonfire Night

<3 It's been a busy week, with starting a new placment and going back to college. Today I went to town early, to sort out my driving license picture. Seriously can't wait to start driving!

Did a little bit of shopping before going into work. After work I went home and had noodlessssssssss, that's all I seem to be eating at the moment, just can't get enough of them ;). Then I met up with some of the girls from college in town, and we walked up to the South Park to watch the fireworks. <3

Went for the Boots interview yesterday. I've never been to one quite like this before. First I had to answer a few questions, which was pretty easy. Then went onto the shop floor, and was told to help out at the tills, and ask customers if they needed any help. The interviewer then asked me to take her to the cheapest Paracetomol in the store. So far so good! Then I had to go upstairs for the last part of the interview, and was asked to try and sell them the 3 products which were on the table, as I would to a customer. There was a 'Sex in the City' gift box set, mascara and a heat protection spray. Struggled on this part more, I could feel my cheeks burning by the time I was finished. At the end of the interview they told me that they would phone me to let my know later on that day.

Sooo, I waited & waited & waited. Still no reply! I was 100% sure that I hadn't got it. Got a phone call around 11:30am today.... WOOHOO... I got the job :) .... The job is basically customer service, walking around making sure that the customers are happy. The pay is really good... £6 and hour and I start next Saturday.

Woke up early with the sound of Mum hoovering and scrubbing the carpet, as a result of Mr B's (accident) during the night ;)... I think we all know what happened there. I went back to sleep as it was way too early to be getting up and rolled out of bed around 11 ish.
I was seeing Chloe today, so I went round her house at 12:30. Haven't seen her in like forever, so we had lots to talk about. She was travelling down to University today, the big move, so it was quite busy at her house!
Came home at 2, after saying goodbye to Chloe. Chilled in the house for the rest of the day. Tonight I did my roots, wooohoo, finally. I have decided to keep this colour. I'm thinking blonde will wash me out, and red can looks cheap. So I'm going to leave it for the time being, until i've decided.

Tonight I have been busy with CV stuff and applying to a job online to Boots. It took me ages to complete. I should really get up early to dye my hair, I look like a tiger!

Home from home

I have been back home for over a week now. The time seems to be flying by, normally everday drags but I actually feel ok to be home. I think its because I was in Alanya for so long this time, its nice to be back, see my (friends, family, and Mr Bullsey). I do miss Ozkan so so so much, but I know I will be planning my next trip out there very shortly. I'm thinking of the end of October - beggining of November (which is when I get time of from college). I need to get a job in the mean time though, so I'm sorting my CV out today. 

As for the summer I have had, I can't begin to explain how good it was. I spent it with the most amazing people, and met many new ones along the way. It feels like a second home there now. I blogged quite a lot while I was away, so it will be nice to look back on everything that's happened.

This week I started college again. I have a feeling this next year is going to go so fast! My time-table looks abit boring, but on a wednesday afternoon we have time free to go to the gym/swimming. So I'm going to make the most of that as we get it free with our college card.

I also got my ear pierced again (tragus) - as it fell out day 1 of my holiday and closed up after a couple of hours. It looks alot better than last time, and it's been positioned good. Hopefully this time it won't fall out and I can keep it. ♥ - Lovee
