Just happy

Perfect day.

We got up early and set of from the apartment at 8:30am. First we stopped of at a shop and got some pasty`s for breakfast, very healthy! It took around 1 hour to get (Manavgat) a town... where we were going to see the waterfall. It was really beautiful... the water was crystal clear. We walked, took pictures, and stopped at the restaurant for a drink of Turkish tea.

After that we looked around some of the shop`s.....

As we coulden`t swim near the waterfall, we went 15 metres down the river to a spot where we could. It was nice because it wasen`t busy. The water was sooo clean and refeshing... and not freezing cold like the water at Dimçay, although it was still cold!

It`s not that I want a dead rose, but I can`t say no to this little boy. Hes so cute... he knows i`m an easy target so he always comes to me first and flutters his big eyes. Normally I woulden`t buy of them cause it`s like begging and their parent`s stand and wait for them across the street.... but it`s only 1 lira ;) and he is a cutie.

So apparantley it`s funny to hide the remote to the air conditioning?! Arrghhhhhhhhhhhhh. Maybe it would be amusing, but it`s NOT because... Did I mention i`m in Turkey, it`s a tad hot. I can`t use it anymore because it`s working out too expensive. Poor me, I may die. It could happen :(

Aqua Park TAKE 2

Went to the Aqua Park yesterday, the same one I went to with my family a few weeks ago. We went with Özkan`s friend `Jack´ (who also work`s at Melani) and `Stine´ his girlfriend (who I have become friends with over the past week). Stine`s brother and sister also came with us. Özkan loved the slides...for me there nothing on Florida though. The boys had to start work at 5 so we left around 4. As I was getting into the car WHAM!!! I smacked my head of the car door :( ... Come on Mrs Bean?!

We went to a couple of other places over the past week or so e.g. Dimçay, Disco and Centrum shopping. Other than that i`ve had more of a relaxing time, chilling in the apartment and watching movies with Özkan.

Merhaba

Spent time with Erica over the past few days.... We normally meet at Melani at around 10pm. We decided on that time because on her first day... when she made a BİG mistake by coming at 5pm! ... It`s not like Mitos and gets really boring to sit alone until then, so 10pm is a good time. It`s been nice to get to know her... seen as I`ve talked to her on the computer for about a year. Yenge 1 and Yenge 2... is what all the guys call us. It means sister in law...  and a woman who is attached (married, engaged, dating, etc.) to a man who their friend. Hell to my own name .. i`m offically Yenge now. ;)

Okayy, I have been totally engrossed in a series of books my mam gave me. I haven`t even been able to get to sleep! There THAT good. There called the (House of Night) and are a bit like Twilight, but better. There`s 8 books in the series so when I get back I need to buy more of them...

Probally a good thing that I`ve finished the ones I had.... now I can actually sleep.. Because of this we got up late and didn`t have time to go anywhere like the pool or beach etc. So we went for breakfast in a restaurant on the mountain.... The view is beautiful...seen it so many times but it never gets old.

Other news to mentiıon is that Ramazan started today. Özkan explained that he was going to do it just today (Day 1), because it`s the most important. The other days don`t matter?!...LOL

Lately

So I have`t wrote in a few days now. I`ve been up to lots there`s too much to write about. It was Christina`s last couple of days so I`ve been spending alot of time with her. We went out to `Miami Beach Club´ again and another day we met up later and went into the centre of Alanya. Christina wanted to get her hair dyed... she went a lovely red colour. I was easily persuaded and got my hair dyed BRİGHT PİNK.... just kidding (nana and mam). Just got my roots done.. it probaly woulden`t have been one of my wisest moves knowing they didn`t speak a word of English.

Yeserday me and Özkan got up early so that we could go to Dimçay. We swam in the pool and went on the one and only very tame slide that there was there. The weather has been cloudy lately so I haven`t had the pleasure of going lobster.

Christina went back home to Denmark last night... she said that she`s planning on coming back again soon so I will probaly see her then (maybe October). Erica also came a couple of days ago, shes really lovely. I`ve been sitting with her in Melani most nights (while I wait for Ozkan and she waits of Alex). Last night we snuck out to Mitos and then we went to Soysal and sat with Susanne. Erica recommended that I try the (strawberry calipso)... Gorgeous, but also very strong. Oh and we didn`t realise it was happy hour (our bad) ;)

Pool & Beach

Met Christina in Melani at 2:30pm... From there we decided to go to Mitos swimming pool because it was far to hot today to get the bus up to Miami Beach Club. As we met up late the sun around the pool went in quick so we decided to go and get something to eat. I had a full English breko.. yum yum. Then we went to the beach... it was a good time to go because it was not so hot. I read my book and Christina ended up falling asleep... so we didn`t leave until 8pm! As usual i`m sat in Melani... Özkan finishes work early tonight so were going to get ´Titanic` and watch that back in the apartment. Yesss... a nice romantic soppy movie (our favourite). mwhahaa.
