Picnic

We went on a picnic/barbecue today :) It was really cute. Set off from the apartment at 9:30am but we didn`t get their until 11:30am. It only takes about 15 mintues to get their but we had to get some last minute bits and pieces and we stopped off at Melani and Mitos aswel. Then Özkan lost his wallet! Luckly a girl had picked it up from the road and handed it in to the nearest shop. When we finally got their we set up our things and realxed. Then we went down to the beach. It was beautiful, the water was crystal clear and warm. As it`s slightly outside of Alanya there were hardly any people there. We swam in the water, and then went to some of the caves which surrounded the beach. After about 1 hour we went back to the picnic area and started to cook the food. We met a lovely older couple who helped us start the barbecue and we shared some of the food with them. Soon after that we had to head back home because Özkan was starting work at 4:00pm.

Park Alanya

Had a lie in this morning and left the apartment at around 1pm. First we got something to eat. I can`t remember the name of what we had... it was kind of like pizza but MASSIVE. Buzzing!

Then we went to `Park Alanya` ... I`ve been banging on about going here to Özkan for ages, everytime we drive past. Sooo we finally went. Strangley I completely chicked out and decided not to do it! So I just watched Özkan instead. He enjoyed himself zooming round and round. After he had finished we got back into the car and he drove us to a remote area. He jumped out the car seat and said that I could drive and he would help me! So I ended up driving something in the end at least.

Tuesday

Spent the day at Miami Beach Club again with Christine. Just relaxed by the pool all day... bit pink now. Bought a new top/dress aswel....

Monday Market

I get lost as to which day it actually is here... but I always know when its Monday because of the market. It`s right in front of our apartment and completley blocks of the entrace. I always laugh when I see all the little stalls and the busy people running round.

Tonight we met up with Alev and her husband again. We first went to the top of the castle, and then to James Dean club. It`s their last night here as they go home tomorrow, so it was nice to see them before they went. They said that when we come to Adana we have to stay with them.

Miami Beach Club

I met Christine at Melani at 12:30pm. We were supposed to be going to the beach but we decided to go to a pool as she said she knew a good one. We got the bus up and it took only about 5 mintues to get there. I`d never been to a pool bar before and I loved it! Got abit burnt on my back though.

Ozkan picked us up at 5:30pm and dropped me of at the apartment while he started work again. I decided to practice my ironing skills on a few of his clothes mwahahahaaaaa

Now i`m ready for the night and going to the restaurant...

Update

Yesterday we went to Dimçay again .... with more of Ozkan`s family. They are so nice! We went with Alev (his cousin) and her family. She has two children (aged 5 and 2) very cute. Today I`ve just been relaxing by the pool and then I meet up with two girls that I met before in a restaurant. They were already sat in Melani when I got there. Were going to the discooo later.. so that should be good fun.

Dimçay with some of Ozkan`s family yesterday... It was nice to see him enjoying himself.. the boys were funny... they acted like kids getting really excited. Very cute. It was a shame I coulden`t swim the water looked so nice... Unfortunatley I didn`t bring my bikini. I`ve told Ozkan we HAVE to come here again.

Last night my family went home, it was sooo sad... I even cried. Wasen`t expecting it to be that emotional. It`s different them going and me staying here.. and I wont see them until September. I miss Mr Bullsey aswel. Today I went to the pool and chilled out on the lilo. Then I met up with Dominic and Simon. They showed me their apartment first, it`s really gorgeous. Then we went to Melani for a meal (their treat)... followed by the internet cafe for an hour. After that they went home for an early night because they leave tomorrow, so i`ll be in Mitos tommorrow night to sit with them and say bye.  Now i`m sat in the restaurant waiting for Ozkan to finish work.

Saturday 17th

Woke up really early this morning because we have some of Ozkan`s family staying with us for a couple of days... (Hakan his brother) (Celal his cousin) and (Hakan`s wifes brother)!! It`s a little awkward because I can`t speak Turkish... but suprisingly were managing to understand each other (abit). Were all going out to James Dean club tonight and tomorrow were going to Dimçay.

Mitos & Melani

Went to Mitos for a meal last night... I had Lasanya because I wasen`t that hungry. Then we went to Melani for a few drinks... thats the new restaurant Ozkan`s working in now. He finished at 12 which was good so we walked back down to Mitos and sat down with Dominic and Simon. Then Alex came once he had finished from Melani and joined us. It was funny how we had two ex employees with us... I don`t think Mustaffa was too happy!

Lizard Boy

Me, Mum and Paige went to my apartment for a little bit tonight after we had eaten in Mitos. I needed Mum to show me how to work the washing machine! It was quite funny when we saw a lizard... we all freaked!

World Cup Final

Went to (Eden) an English restaurant last night for the World Cup Final - Holland vs Spain. We had Sunday dinner to eat... I had been looking forward to it because we made the reservation a few days before. Dominic, Simon and Brenda were there and we all sat together to eat. Another family that we knew were there aswel... who are staying at the Mitos. After we had eaten Me, Simon and Paige went for a walk out to the shop to get his pictures back that he got done during the day.... they were soooo funny!! The best one was the pillow he got. It was so camp but I loved it.

Aqua Park

Been at a Aqua Park today, about 1 hour away from Alanya. I had to get up really early at 7:30 as we were being picked up at 8:00. Went to one last year but this one was far bigger and lots more to do.

MY 18TH!!

Had an amazing day :)........ In the morning Mum, Dad and Paige came round our apartment and Ozkan cooked everyone breakfast. He was sooo cute running backwards and forwards making different things. Then I opened a few presents. When I went into the bedroom to put my bikini on Ozkan told my Mum that he was going to give me one present now and one later. The fırst present I got from him was a dress.

After that we went to the beach to go parasailing!!! It was soooooooooooo good. We went on a smaller boat first which transfered us onto the bigger one. I first went on with Ozkan and then Paige. Dad sat on the boat and watched while taking pictures of us.

We then chilled and swam in the sea. Soon after that we went back to get ready for the night ;). I put on my birthday outfit and my massive topshop shoesss.

When me and Ozkan arrived at Mitos Mum, Dad and Paige were already sat down. There were balloons and decorations set up. We had a meal and I was getting nervous because I knew they were about to sing happy birthday to me and make a seen. But I didn`t expect it to be as big and loud as it was. I`ve been coming to this restaruant 2 years now and I have never seen it like that. There was sparklers and pyrotechnics going off, confetti and a gorgeous cake. Ozkan then came over while eveyone was still watching and gave me my second present .... a peal necklace :O ...It`s beautiful.

Just when I thought it actually coulden`t get any better Dominic and Simon arrived. There the guys that I met in October and are absolulety mad. It was nice because I didn`t know that they were even coming and it was there first night. So they joined us at the table aswel and had some cake.

At about 1:00pm me and Ozkan went out to the centre for a few drinks. We were then joined by Burak and went to a nightclub outside of Alanya. This was the best I have ever seen. It was huge and had waterfalls etc. It even had a tank with baby sharks :O..... When we were dancing I got a shout-outtt :P haha!

Such a good birthday! Everything was perfect.

1 week later

Been here one week now.....Havent been able to get on the computer because were still waitıng for the internet connection in our apartment. Sat in the Mitos now.. theres a huge birthday party going on.

When I arrived here I was expecting to get the transfer that I booked... because Ozkans car wasent working. I walked out the entrace with my two huge suitcases and (Ozkan, Sebo and Burak) were waiting outside. Burak had to get my transfer back himself because he couldent fit insıde the car aswel. awwww...  and we went in Sebos Porche. It was sooo cold  because it dosent have a roof... so me and Ozkan had a massive blanket that we put over our heads! We looked sooo funny.

This week we have been to the beach, pool, disco, restaurants, cinema etc. Its been nice because he hasent been working. Were planning on going to his hometown to see his family just after my birthday. So thats going to be an experience. Hopefully it wont be too long until I can go online everyday! My famıly come tomorrow so that should be nice... apparantly there flight has been delayed 4 hours so there going to be here a little late than expected.........
